SMX/SM250 - Extreme Cycle Jam Video

SMX/SM250 Final

The combined SMX 250 and SM2 250 race provided flag to flag racing action. Brandon Dooley got the hole shot on his Yamaha going into the hairpin and then lost his momentum and the lead going over the Part Unlimited Urban Jump to Kawasaki-mounted Chase Guthrie. Guthrie bobbled in the dirt and lost the lead and then a lap later got it back.

At the 3/4 point the running order was Chase Guthrie, Jason Hine and Brandon Dooley. As the eight lap affair ran down, Guthrie built an unstoppable 20 second advantage. On the white flag lap Dooley slipped past Hine on his KTM to take second.

The 3rd annual 07 Extreme Cycle Jam NASMOTO contingency awards were provided by Metzeler, Kawasaki, Yamaha, and KTM. Podcast and Vidcast interviews of racers were provided by Horsepower Marketing.
